Summer 2009 Must-Have: Trendy Swimwear

The sun is beaming brightly. It produces a different tingling heat. Can you feel it too? Well, here the Philippines, it's definitely summer time and I am so excited with this season. It means longer day, tanner skin, tons of sun block lotion or tanning oil, glasses of refreshing smoothies and drinks, time to play around and most of all having fun in a beach.

But before we head outdoors and bask on the heat of the sun let's check our bags if we got the summer must-haves such as swimwear.

There are lots of available swimwear but we should not buy impulsively. Keep in mind that they are not just for swimming, but for posing as well. You'll feel good if you're sporting a hot trendy swimwear. I looked on the Victoria's Secret site and here are some of the must-haves swimwear that every fashionista should grab:

Spring 2009 Fashion Trends. Leather Leggings. HOW TO WEAR LEATHER PANTS (trousers) CORRECTLY.

Okay, rent is always a worthy cause, but, to be honest our regrets to liquid latex leggings. If you can swing it, don't neglect an opportunity. No other article of clothing on earth ccould give you the same heady wild-child feel as slipping on a pair of skintight (real) black leather pants.

They suck you up and in, and have the power to transform even the squarest, boring librarian into a sexy Viper Room-trawling, crazy-hot mess. Alexander Wang's paper-thin, curve-huggers from his spring 2009 show are a rock-n-roll fantasy come true and worth every penny.

But the one thing you have to know is that with this fabulous power comes responsibility as well. There are a couple of things to remember: The nature of leather is that it will stretch out. So, if you can wriggle your way into them, buy one size smaller, because they will expand, and there's no getting around that. And find yourself a tailor who can take in leather pants. Before you sit down, pull up the knees, so that you don't have horrible sagging old-lady knees later.

Also, keep the leather supple by buffing it with mink oil and a soft cloth. We are hesitant to issue any sort of rules about how to wear them, but remember, such a statement-making piece of clothing also sort of magnifies whatever you pair it with, If you ever wear them with Converse and you will look like a Ramone. If you wear them with fancy heels, you will look like some renegade socialite attempting to be "downtown".

So try to dress very simply, carefully, and most importantly, in whatever you are the most comfortable in.

Everybody knows how fleet-footed a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is on the road - and now it is on the footpath as well, literally. There are the first track-biased high heels in the world.

The carbon fibre heeled woman shoes are the work of a brilliant designer and member of the CGSociety called Tim Cooper, who modelled them on a pair of his wife's high heels using a large handful of Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera images. The CGS - if you want to know - is a group of artists who specialise in 3D modelling and computer generated imagery.

Of course, no one with taste and propriety would ever want to wear these shoes - or even letting them anywhere near their house - but they are still a very clever piece of rendering. The level of detail is quite amazing - so much so, in fact, that there's a chance someone may take matters a step further and actually make them. We hope not...

Pop Diva Madonna Keeps Shocking Us!

Summer Spring 2009 fashion collections of Rodarte, Givenchy, Thakoon, Narciso Rodriguez and Herve Leger proved that "surgical corset" turns into fashion trend. As we know Madonna is a big lover of fashion trends, but this time it seems like Madonna laid it thick a little.

In promotional photo session of her album Hard Candy Madonna was dressed in something that didn't look like clothes. I would say it was stylish "surgical corset".

Maybe Pop Star Madonna just forgot that what looks sexy at the age of 35 is not very attractive at the age of 50...
